Summary: Learn what a Program is in Sanplex, how it organizes sub-programs, projects, and linked products, and how to view related information in Project View, Product View, and Program Kanban.

A Program in Sanplex is a coordinated collection of related projects managed under one strategic structure. It sits at the highest level of the management hierarchy and helps teams align planning, resources, and execution across multiple projects.

Sanplex supports multi-level project management, allowing organizations to define strategy from a broader perspective and manage work across programs, sub-programs, and projects. It also supports hierarchical permission control, so access can be isolated between a parent program and its subordinate programs and projects.

Program Hierarchy

A Program is the top-level management structure in Sanplex. Under a Program, you can manage one or more sub-programs, projects, and linked products. Products can be linked directly to the top-level Program, while projects can exist under the parent program or under subordinate programs.

View Programs and Projects in Project View

In Project View, you can view parent and child Programs in a tree structure, together with the projects managed under each Program. This view helps you understand the Program hierarchy and how projects are organized within it.

View Programs and Products in Product View

In Product View, you can view Programs and their linked products in a tree structure. Products linked directly to the top-level Program are also displayed, helping you understand how products are associated with different Programs.

Track Progress in Program Kanban

In the Program Kanban view, you can visually track the progress of plans, projects, and executions associated with the products under each Program. This view provides a high-level progress overview and helps managers quickly understand current work status.
